Top 10 Hardest Interview Questions !

| Labels: | Posted On

A job interview is no easy task. In fact many job seekers have trouble with the same set of questions. To ease the process of interviewing, we've listed the Top 10 Hardest Job Interview Questions. Focus on these job interview questions, study them, learn them, research them, and ace your next job interview!

1. Why did you get fired/ terminated?
This question is tricky yet needs to be answered with full honesty. The interviewer would want to hear your honesty and your side of the story. Support your answer with a very good explanation. In case you get fired due to legal issues, explain that you were currently working on it and that it does not have anything to do with your performance. Your explanation in your answer is very important; it should be direct and should not contain intersections.

2. Tell me about problems you encountered with Supervisors.
Another tricky question that will test how you worked with your superiors. I suggest not to be too honest in answering this question. For example, common observations such as being bossy, opinionated, authoritarian, or being a keen observer are the common traits of a Supervisor that are incorrectly used. Instead, cite a personal experience that you had encounter with a supervisor so that the interviewer would understand why it became your problem.

3. What Qualities do you look for in a boss?
Do not answer with the most common traits that a boss should possess like "being nice to employees" or a good leader. You should relate your answer with your work. For example “My ideal boss is someone who can make time to hear employees' opinions or ideas, and a boss who cares to listen and give fair his/her opinion with my work.”

4. As a professional, do you have any disappointments?
Cite the experience that really disappoints you, as you relay the story behind it make sure that you state something that you have learned after.

5. What is your edge among other jobseekers who already have professional experience?
This question is one of the most tricky questions for fresh graduates. You need to answer this question with full confidence and strut. Most answer “because of my age and fresh ideas." You should further explain your answer, and make surethat it has something to do with the company’s growth.

6. What do you know about this company?
Considered to be one of the hardest questions since most jobseekers failed to research the company (its management, products, etc.).

7. How would you be an asset to this company?
Another tough question. Confidence is the key to surpass this one. Give a clear two-liner explanation on how you can become an asset to the company

8. Why do you think you will do well on this position that you are applying for?
Cite an experience where you often got praise on the things that you did and relate that to how qualified you are in the position that you are applying for.

9. What is your observation about this company?
This question may be a trap. The interviewer expects you to be a keen observer since you want to work in their company.Make sure that you observed the company’s environment, workers, and the office. Your impression matters to the interviewer.

10. Are you open for criticisms?
How do you take them? - Your attitude will be tested in this question. The interviewer wants to know if you are open for suggestions and how strong you are in handling pressure.

Two Indian students develop Apple's top paid Application

| Labels: , | Posted On

Two Indian born Stanford graduate students have created a $3.99 application in the iPad. It is the top paid app in the entire iPad section of the App Store. The Pulse Reader app in the iPad was developed by Akshay Kothari (23) and Ankit Gupta (22) at the Institute of Design of Stanford University.Kothari said the project was inspired by 'a personal frustration at the whole news reading experience' on mobile devices. The stylish and easy to use news aggregator service was developed in the Launch Pad class, where the budding entrepreneurs are given an opportunity to develop and introduce a product in just ten weeks.Pulse is a clean and visual news aggregator and the reader takes up to 20 news sources that can be followed and a visual mosaic of the news can be created. The article can be tapped and a clean rendered view of the news story can be presented. The app allows users to see text-only versions of articles, which are basically cleaned-up versions of a news site's RSS feeds, or to see the full articles as they are presented on the Web. It also lets sharing articles through Twitter and Facebook by passing the individual sharing tools presented by each news site. News organizations are yet to get accustomed to iPad strategies but are quite hopeful about the success of pulse. "You absolutely do not have to give away something great for free," said Michael Dearing, a former eBay executive who is a teacher of the Launch Pad class. "If you build something great, people will pay you for it," added Dearing. Nearly 15,000 people have downloaded this app and it has generated more than $40,000 in revenue, taking into account Apple's 30 percent cut. Akshay and Ankit have created a company, Alphonso Labs, and are now working on versions of the app for other devices, as well as talking to potential investors.

At the age of 25, Lance Armstrong was one of the world's best cyclists. Lance Armstrong seemed invincible and his future was bright. But Suddenly he was suffering with serious of illness. The Doctor told him that he got a serious problem and it was “CANCER”. If detected early, its cure rate is a promising 90 percent. But Like most young healthy men, Lance ignored the warning signs, and he never imagined the seriousness of his condition. Going untreated, the cancer had spread to Lance's abdomen, lungs and brain. His chances dimmed.Wherever he turned he heard the same words “Everything over for Him” But he did not cared about what others said & loose his confidence, he told everyone that
“A boo is a lot louder than a cheer. If you have 10 people cheering and one person booing, all you hear is the booing.”
So after a combination of physical conditioning, a strong support system and competitive spirit took over. He declared himself Not a cancer victim but a cancer survivor. He took an active role in educating himself about his disease and the treatment. Armed with knowledge and confidence in medicine, he underwent aggressive treatment and beat the disease.

After his Survival 7 consecutive
times he was the Champion of TOUR-De France.

"Pain is temporary
It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year,
eventually it will subside and something else will take its place.
But If I quit, Pain lasts forever."
